Evan Harris – Cross Country – Herriman HS

Evan Harris – Evan ran a 15:18 in his 3 mile race, finishing 8th out of 890 athletes and he also has the 8th fastest time in 6A so far this season.

Ayden Helm – Football – Mountain Ridge HS

Ayden is being nominated for Athlete of the Month because of his contributions to Mountain Ridge Football. Ayden is the Quarterback and unquestioned leader of our team. His performance on the field through the first 3 weeks has been one of the best overall performances in 5A. He currently ranks in the top 5 individual performances in Passing Yards, Passing Touchdowns, and Rushing Yards. His last game vs. Hurricane High School he contributed to a school record 6 Total Touchdowns (5 passing, 1 Rushing)

Off the field he is also an excellent student having a perfect 4.0 GPA and is always volunteering and helping with our youth football programs.

Passing Stats: 42/80, 694 yards, 8 TD’s, 4 Int’s
Rushing Stats: 29 Carries, 207 yards, 2 TD’s

Jaxson Dart – Football – Corner Canyon HS

In 3 games in August, Jaxson led the Chargers to a #1 ranking in Utah and nationally ranked as well. As the quarterback, he has helped the 2-time defending state champions pick up where they left off last year.

965 yards passing, 286 yards rushing, 17 touchdowns, 0 turnovers

Kason Brooksby – Golf – Bingham HS

Kason is an outstanding student-athlete who exhibits all the great characteristics of an outstanding athlete: drive, enthusiasm, leadership, and respectful. He is a competitor on and off the fairways and greens and is a natural leader who his peers look too for guidance and support. Kason handles adversity as well as any young athlete I have seen come through Bingham High. He can botch a hole and immediately change his mindset and remain focused on his next shot being perfect.

Girls:

Sammy Perry – Volleyball – Mountain Ridge HS

In our second year open as a school, Sammy as a team captain has helped us to an 8-2 start. She is in the top 5 in 5A in hitting percentage and leads the state in 5A in kills.

Alexia Cox – Tennis – Bingham HS

Alexia is a truly gifted young lady. She is admired by her coaches as well as her peers for how well she carries herself on the tennis court. She is a fierce competitor who never underestimates her opponents. She can be seen cheering on her teammates when she is finished with her matches and trying to push them to be the best they can be. She has an internal drive that is constantly pushing her to be the best Alexia she can be both on the court and in the classroom and community. She is sought after by her teammates looking to her for guidance as a natural leader. The underclassman admire her for her leadership skills and her fellow seniors strive to be like her with her competitive drive and encouraging personality.

Taylor O’Farrell – Cross Country – Riverton HS

#1 runner on the team and is also starting on the soccer team
